Empirical Prey

Dare to go on a cinematic rock journey?

Empirical Prey are a new band from Victoria.

It’s been a labour of love for guitarist/writer/producer Markyboy Swine. A salty old rock dog/ringmaster and a survivor of Pearls And Swine / The Electric Hippies. With an obsession to create a new sound, guitar driven cinematic rock.

Vocalist is Cail Baroni, a charismatic and poetic front man/co-writer with a powerful and diverse vocal range and commanding stage presence. His influences include Freddy Mercury, Jeff Buckley and Muse.

On drums is Kane Baker, another survivor of the Electric Hippies. Yiorgs “The Greek” is on bass, a seasoned musician. Together a rhythm section forced to be reckoned with.

The band have been locked away for almost a year, creating and recording their soon to be released Debut album in Markyboys warehouse/home studio. A melting pot of musicians, film makers, Avantgarde artists and stray dogs. Located in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
